I have started running. Early morning mostly. It's cooler in the morning. I have discovered it is one of the best times to explore my neighborhood. Today I noticed a local ham company called Miller Ham. I had walked/driven by it many times and never even noticed it. That happens a lot while I am out on my quiet morning runs. There is so much beauty that is easily overlooked in the hustle and bustle of city living.
Today I:
I ran into a young guy casting a mold of one of the old sewer covers.
Discovered a plum tree with with gobs of perfectly ripened delicious treats.
Ran into a friend who updated me on his project "The Other Side Of Black & White."
There are so many pieces that go into the depth of a city landscape. It often seems so haphazard and random. Though as I run through the neighborhood on mornings like today it seems to all be working together, a magnificent orchestra of life.
